Microvolunteer Opportunities

Goal:  It is a volunteer opportunity that is offered in short and convenient, bite-sized chunks of time. It offers you a series of easy tasks that can be done anytime, anywhere, on your own terms. The key benefit is flexibility!
Time Commitment: You decide… 15 minutes, or a couple hours.
Location:  Flexible, your home, or the IVMA offices.

Legislative Working Group

Goal:  To review and assess legislative issues that may impact veterinary medicine in Indiana
Time Commitment:  1 face to face meeting  in 2020 plus email/conference call/Zoom contact as needed
Location:  IVMA Offices; Discovery Hall, Suite 200 at the Indiana State Fair grounds.

IVMA Wet Labs Working Group

Goal:  To explore and plan innovative wet lab events in 2020
Time Commitment:  1-2 face to face meetings in 2020 plus email/conference call/Zoom contact as needed
Location:  IVMA Offices; Discovery Hall, Suite 200 at the Indiana State Fair grounds.

Health and Wellness Working Group

Goal:  To develop resources and tools to help members improve their wellness
Time Commitment: 1-3 Zoom meetings in 2020 plus email/conference call contact as needed
Location:  IVMA Offices; Discovery Hall, Suite 200 at the Indiana State Fair grounds.

Power of 10 Reunion Working Group

Goal:  To create opportunities for past Power of 10 participants to connect and continue to learn and grow
Time Commitment: Planning concepts and follow up connections via email/conference call/Zoom as needed
Location:  IVMA Offices; Discovery Hall, Suite 200 at the Indiana State Fair grounds.
