Welcome to the IVMA Student Web Page!  The Purdue veterinary school students are a valued partner in the IVMA. 

Scholarship applications are now being accepted for scholarships for Indiana residents who are sophomore, junior, or senior veterinary students. The selected students will be recognized and scholarship checks presented at the IVMA Annual Meeting Membership Luncheon on Saturday, February 5, 2011, in Indianapolis.

• The Indiana Veterinary Medical Association is offering 5 - $1000 scholarships to selected students. Click here for a copy of the scholarship application. The application is due by October 15, 2010, to the IVMA offices. 

Here are the programs available to veterinary school students:

• Student Membership Brochure!  Click here for a copy of the IVMA Student Brochure.
• Representation on the IVMA Board of Directors! Students have a voting member of the Board of Directors ~ see Kimberly Anderson at Purdue for more information.
• Freshmen Stethoscope Dinner!  The freshmen veterinary students were welcomed to the profession with dinner and stethoscopes provided by Webster Veterinary Supply. This event will be held on September 2, 2010, at Purdue.
• Student Mentoring! Junior students can register for the Mentor Program.  Call the IVMA office at 800/270-0747 for more information.
• Annual Meeting Events!  Look forward to information regarding student activities at the IVMA Annual Meeting, February 3-6, 2011, at the Marriott Hotel East Side in Indianapolis.
