Grievances Against Veterinarians

Unfortunately, from time to time, consumers may be unhappy or dissatisfied with their veterinarian.  Here are several pieces of information for you to respond in these situations:

Consumer Protection Division - Office of the Indiana Attorney General - You may obtain a complaint from to file a complaint against the veterinarian's license to practice veterinary medicine in Indiana. Click here for more information on their web page.

IVMA Peer Review and Ethics Committee - The IVMA has a mechanism to review your issues.  This program has no legal binding, but is used as a way to resolve communication or other issues related to the care of your animal.
