President
Dr. Lori Thompson

Dr. Lori Thompson, DVM, DACVD, is a Purdue 2000 veterinary school graduate. Her veterinary practice is based in Indianapolis and she is board-certified in dermatology. She is a member of IVMA, AVMA, CIVMA, AAVD, ACVD, and AAHA.  Her interests include Special Olympics and the Quilters Guild of Indiana.  She and her husband Jim have 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 horses.  Her hobbies include reading, quilting, hiking, and agility/obedience training.


President-elect
Dr. Paul Clemente

Dr. Paul Clemente is a 1982 graduate of PUSVM.  He currently works at East State Vet Clinic in Fort Wayne, IN. He is a current member of NEIVMA, IVMA, and AVMA.  Dr. Clemente is a part-time instructor at International Business College Veterinary Technician program in Fort Wayne. He and his wife Susan have a daughter, Pamela, son-in-law Ryan, and 2 grandsons.  He enjoys golf, tennis, and bike riding.


Vice President
Dr. Philip C. Borst

Dr. Philip Borst is a 1975 graduate from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a veterinarian at Shelby Street Animal Clinic, Indianapolis, IN.  His professional affiliations are the AVMA, IVMA, CIVMA and AAHA.  His wife is Jill and children are Alex and Eric.


Treasurer
Dr. Aileen McDivitt

Dr. McDivitt is a 2000 graduate of the PUSVM.  She is currently employed at Kokomo Animal Hospital, Kokomo, IN.  She is a member of AVMA, IVMA, and Wabash Valley VMA.  Dr. McDivitt volunteeers with Girl Scouts and the Wabash Valley VMA.  She and her husband, Dave, have three daughters, ages 7, 6, and 4.  She is the proud owner of 2 dogs and 2 cats. Dr. McDivitt enjoys time with her family, church, and Girl Scouts.


Immediate Past President
Dr. Steven Sunbury

Dr. Sunbury is a 1993 graduate of Purdue University.  He works as a veterinarian at Seymour Animal Hospital, Seymour, IN.  His area of practice is mixed, but mostly small animal.  Dr. Sunbury's professional affiliations are the 9th district VMA, IVMA and the AVMA.  He and his wife Leisa have three children, Delaney, Karley and Keegan.  Dr. Sunbury enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, running, swimming, cycling, and participating in triathlons.


District 1
Dr. Jerry Rodenbarger

Dr. Jerry Rodenbarger is a 1979 graduate of The Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is currently employed at Vale Park Animal Hospital.  He is a current member of these organizations:  CAVMA, IVMA, AVMA, AAHA, Porter County Welfare Board.  He is involved with the Valparaiso YMCA Board, the Porter County United Way Board, Hansing Opportunities Board, Porter County Boy’s and Girl’s Club Advisory Board, and 1st UMC.  He resides with his wife Linda, an elementary educator, their children Andrew 26, Sarah 24, and Zach 22.  His hobbies are sports, travelling and being on Boards!


District 2
Dr. Pete Bill

Dr. Pete Bill is a 1980 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Bill works at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, in the area of Veterinary Technology. His professional affiliations are the AVMA, IVMA, WCIVMA, AVTA, and the VTTC. His wife's name is Lorita and his children are Chelsea and Christopher who both attend Purdue.  His hobbies are collecting dinosaur bones, fossils, foreign coins, music and kayaking.


District 3
Dr. Richard Brungardt

Dr. Brungardt is the Board representative from the Michiana District.  He is owner of Lakeland Animal Clinic in Syracuse, IN.  He is a 1966 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Brungardt is a member of IVMA, AVMA, IN Equine Association, AAHA, Small Animal Practitioners, Michiana VMA, and the NEIVMA.  In his community, Dr. Brungardt is active with Rotary Club, Wasaw Noon TM, Bob Richmond Memorial TM Club, Knights of Columbus, Eagles, and the Barber Shop Chorus.  He has a daughter who lives in the St. Louis area.  Dr.Brungardt's hobbies include barber shop chorus, toastmasters, reading, gardening, speaking and dancing.

District 4
Dr. Bill Kerley

Dr. William Kerley is a 1964 PUSVM graduate.  Dr. Kerley is employed at Anthony Animal Clinic in Fort Wayne. He is a current member of IVMA, AVMA, NEIVMA, CoVMA, FIVMA, IVAS, ALS, and ARAV. He is D.O.C. Elder and is involved with Boy Scouts Eagle Review.  Dr. Kerley is the St. Marys/Winchester Road Association President. He is board member of the South of Fort Wayne Business Club. He and his wife of 47 years, Carolyn (PU '64), have two sons - Klark Alan (Christine) and Kyle Ashley (Sara, RVT). Dr. Kerley enjoys fishing, photography, sport & action shooting, and service work.


District 5 Board Member
Dr. Adam Vernengo

Dr. Adam Vernengo is a 2003 graduate of Ross University.  He is currently employed at Kokomo Animal Hospital in Kokomo, IN.  He is a member of the IVMA, AVMA, and WVVA.  Dr. Vernengo is involved locally with the Kokomo Humane Society. He and his wife Kara are the proud parents of Christian, 4, and Alysson, 1.  His hobbies include swimming, water skiing, snow skiing, and antique cars like the Model A Ford.


Student Board Member
Kimberly Anderson

Kimberly Anderson will be a member of the PUSVM Class of 2012.  She is a member of SCAVMA, AAFP, AAI and AAHA.  Kim is the Pfizer student rep and the Purina student rep.  She has 2 cats and a turtle.  Her hobbies include studying - is there time for anything else while in veterinary school?  :)

District 7
Dr. Gayland Jones

Dr. Jones works at Wabash Valley Animal Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.  He is a 1980 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a current member of the IVMA and AVMA.  Dr. Jones is involved locally with Rotary and with health careers education programs.  He and his wife Suzy have twin daughters, Emily and Meghan, and a son, Ryan.  His hobbies include being a private pilot, wildlife conservation, and working with a tree farm.


District 8
Dr. John T. Feutz

Dr. John Feutz is a 2005 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a member of the IVMA, AVMA, SWIVMA, AAEP, AABP, IN AEP, and the IN Bovine Interest.  He is on the Gibson County Fair Board, Superintendant and Club Leader of the 4-H project, and is involved with the Antique Machinery Association, the Elks, Knights of Columbus, and the local Beef Cattle Association. Dr. Feutz is married to Dr. Marybeth Miskovic Feutz. His hobbies are collecting antique tractors, raising beef cattle, hunting, fishing, and going to meetings for all things listed above.


District 9
Dr. Joy Dvorak

Dr. Joy V. Dvorak is a 1986 graduate of Iowa State School of Veterinary Medicine. She is currently employed as a relief veterinarian, and at College Mall Veterinary Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana.  She is a current member of these organizations:  IVMA, AVMA, and CIVMA.  She is a local church member in Columbus; she is an active member with the Brown County YMCA. She is a member of the Central Indiana Bicycling Association, and ASERT member.  Dr. Dvorak is also a consultant in Anderson at the Indiana Animal Care Center.   She resides with her husband Craig Walker.  Her hobbies include swimming, road and mountain bicycling and pet rescue.


District 10
Dr. Nathan Rich

Dr. Nathan Rich is a 2006 PUSVM graduate.  He works at Country Acre Animal Clinic in New Castle.  He is a member of IVMA and AVMA.  He and his wife, Katie Petry, DDS, have 3 cats and 1 dog.  Dr. Rich's hobbies include hunting, fishing, skiing, trap and skeet, and biking.


Distric 11
Dr. Jerry Risser

Dr. Jerry Risser is a 1992 graduate of Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine. He currently works for Fall Creek Veterinary Medical Center. He graduated with a MA in Bioethics from Trinity  International University in May, 2011.  He is a current member of:  IVMA, AVMA, CIVMA. Dr. Risser is currently involved with Cub Scouts as a Den Leader, and he teaches adult classes at Faith Church. He resides in Indianapolis with his wife Rebecca.  They have been married 11 years and their children, Jameson 8, and Laine, 8, and Lydia 7. His hobbies include landscaping and gardening, travel, cycling. He is a political junkie too!


Equine
Dr. Julie Davis

Dr. Julie Davis is a 2005 graduate of The Purdue University of Veterinary Medicine.  She currently works at Circle D Veterinary Services.  She is a current member of the following organizations; IVMA. AVMA, AAEP. IAEP, AABP, AASRP, SFT, IVAS, AAVA.  She is involved with the 4H clubs and programs.  Dr. Davis supports countywide agriculture-based learning opportunities and mentors future veterinarians, via job shadowing and internships.  She shares a farm and a mortgage with Jean Smith and her neurotic Border Collie Trix, and her lazy cat Barry.  Her hobbies include raising beef cattle, playing Farkle and Skip-Bo with her niece and nephew, and dreaming about having the time to train and show western performance horses.


District 12
Dr. James Hollis

Dr. James H. Hollis, DVM, is a Purdue 1989 SVM graduate. He is currently employed at the Indiana State Board of Animal Health.  He is a member of the IVMA, AVMA, District XII, Indiana Environmental Health Association (IEHA), and USAHA.  Dr. Hollis is involved in the Ripley County Health Board and is a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He and his wife have been married for 26 years and have 2 children.  His hobbies include gardening, lawn work, reading, and taking care of his horses.


Bovine
Dr. Jason K. Huff

Dr. Jason K Huff is a 2000 graduate of The Purdue University of Veterinary Medicine.  He currently works for Western Central Veterinary Services.  He is a current member of these organizations:  IVMA, AVMA, AABP.  He resides with his wife Angela and their two sons, Ben age 7 and Owen age 4.  His hobbies include church activities and all outside activities including camping, fishing, and hiking, and following his kids to youth sports.


District 13 - Swine
Dr. Lawrence Stauffer

Dr. Lawrence Staffer is a 1967 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a veterinarian at Delphi Veterinary Clinic in Delphi, IN.  His professional affiliations are the IVMA, Indiana State Board of Animal Health and Purdue Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory Advisory Committee.  His wife is Lillian and his three children are Bill, Liesli and Ben.  He enjoys spending time with his 6 grandchildren, watching Purdue football, Purdue basketball, raising cattle and gardening.

AVMA Delegate
Dr. John Schnarr

Dr. John Schnarr is a 1970 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a veterinarian at Irvington Pet Clinic, Indianapolis, IN.  His professional affiliations are the CIVMA, IVMA and the AVMA.  His wife is Barbara, and his sons are Eric and Jason.  He has two grandchildren.  His hobbies are scuba diving, photography, and golf.

AVMA Alternate Delegate
Dr. Jim Weisman

Dr. Weisman is a 1997 graduate of PUSVM.  He is a current member of the IVMA, WCIVMA, AVMA, and  AAVMC.  Dr. Weisman is actively involved with the Indiana State Fair Board and is an IN 4-H Foundation board member. He is the current president of WCIVMA.  Dr. Weisman is a faculty member and currently the Director of Student Services at the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys attending concerts, tennis, Purdue sports, Texas Hold 'Em, and Cornhole.
