Dr. Pete Bill

Dr. Pete Bill is a 1980 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Bill works at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, in the area of Veterinary Technology. His professional affiliations are the AVMA, IVMA, WCIVMA, AVTA, and the VTTC. His wife's name is Lorita and his children are Chelsea (attends Purdue University) and Christopher who attends high school.  His hobbies are collecting dinosaur bones, fossils, foreign coins, music and kayaking.

President-elect
Dr. Steven Sunbury

Dr. Sunbury is a 1993 graduate of Purdue University.  He works as a veterinarian at Seymour Animal Hospital, Seymour, IN.  His area of practice is mixed, but mostly small animal.  Dr. Sunbury's professional affiliations are the 9th district VMA, IVMA and the AVMA.  He and his wife Leisa have three children, Delaney, Karley and Keegan.  Dr. Sunbury enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, running, swimming, cycling, and participating in triathlons.

Dr. Lori Thompson

Dr. Lori Thompson, DVM, DACVD, is a Purdue 2000 veterinary school graduate. She is currently employed at Lilly Companion Animal Health.  She is a member of IVMA, AVMA, CIVMA, AAVD, ACVD, and AAHA.  Her interests include Special Olympics and the Quilters Guild of Indiana.  She and her husband Jim have 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 horses.  Her hobbies include reading, quilting, hiking, and agility/obedience training.

Immediate Past President
Dr. Tony Rumschlag

Dr. Tony Rumschlag is a 1985  graduate from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Rumschlag works for Lilly Companion Animal, Greenfield, IN.  His area of practice is industry. His professional affiliations are AVMA, IVMA, CIVM, AAVP, AHS, AAH-ABV, AVSAB and AACPPV.  He is also a member of the AVMA's Committee for Veterinary Technician Education and Actvities (CVTEA). His wife's name is Hella, who works as a library media specialist at Mohawk Trails Elementary School in Carmel, and children are Andy (Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA) and Jeff (entering senior year at Noblesville High School).  His hobbies are swimming, fishing and paying for college.

Treasurer
Dr. Ross Clayton

Dr. Clayton is a 2001 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. He is a veterinarian at Carter Veterinary Hospital in Carmel, IN. He and his wife Anne, also a veterinarian (PU '01), have three sons.

District 1
Dr. Greg Keeker

Dr. Greg Keeker is a 1976 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Keeker works at Hobart Animal Clinic and his area of practice is small animal.  His professional affiliations are the IVMA, CAVMA (District 1), and the AVMA.  His hobbies are gardening, hiking and sailing. 

District 2
Dr. Mimi Arighi

Dr. Arighi is a 1979 graduate of the University of California-Davis.  Her area of practice is large animal surgery.  She is employed by Purdue University where she is the Director of Purdue's Veterinary Teaching Hospital.  Her professional affiliations are the IVMA, ACVS, AAVC, AAEP, AAHA and the AVMA.  She enjoys golfing, walking, traveling, and her pets.

 


District 3
Dr. Richard Brungardt

Dr. Brungardt is the Board representative from the Michiana District.  He is owner of Lakeland Animal Clinic in Syracuse, IN.  He is a 1966 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Brungardt is a member of IVMA, AVMA, IN Equine Association, AAHA, Small Animal Practitioners, Michiana VMA, and the NEIVMA.  In his community, Dr. Brungardt is active with Rotary Club, Wasaw Noon TM, Bob Richmond Memorial TM Club, Knights of Columbus, Eagles, and the Barber Shop Chorus.  He has a daughter who lives in the St. Louis area.  Dr.Brungardt's hobbies include barber shop chorus, toastmasters, reading, gardening, speaking and dancing.

District 5
Dr. William Dan Quinlan

Dr. Dan Quinlan is a 1978 graduate of Michigan State University(M.S.U.).  He is a veterinarian and works for the Fulton-Miami County Vet Hospital in Rochester and Peru, IN.  His professional affiliations are the AVMA, IVMA and the Wabash Valley District.  His wife is Kathy and has four children and 11 grandchildren.  He enjoys golf, flying, fishing, cattle and farming.

District 6 - Student
Michael Mann

Michael is a veterinary student at the Purdue University School of Medicine and will graduate in 2011.  He is a member of, AVMA and a junior delegate at Purdue.  He is also an equine club member.  He is from central Indiana.  His hobbies are flying airplanes, racing thoroughbred horses and sports.

Kimberly Anderson

Kimberly Anderson will be a member of the PUSVM Class of 2012.  She is a member of SCAVMA, AAFP, AAI and AAHA.  Kim is the Pfizer student rep and the Purina student rep.  She has 2 cats and a turtle.  Her hobbies include studying - is there time for anything else while in veterinary school?  :)

District 7 Board Member
Dr. Gayland Jones

Dr. Jones works at Wabash Valley Animal Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.  He is a 1980 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a current member of the IVMA and AVMA.  Dr. Jones is involved locally with Rotary and with health careers education programs.  He and his wife Suzy have twin daughters, Emily and Meghan, and a son, Ryan.  His hobbies include being a private pilot, wildlife conservation, and working with a tree farm.

District 8 - SWIVMA
Dr. John T. Feutz

Dr. John Feutz is a 2005 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a member of the IVMA, AVMA, SWIVMA, AAEP, AABP, IN AEP, and the IN Bovine Interest.  He is on the Gibson County Fair Board, Superintendant and Club Leader of the 4-H project, and is involved with the Antique Machinery Association, the Elks, Knights of Columbus, and the local Beef Cattle Association. Dr. Feutz's fiance is Marybeth Miskovic who is also a DVM. His hobbies are collecting antique tractors, raising beef cattle, hunting, fishing, and going to meetings for all things listed above.


District 9
Dr. Paul Stahly

Dr. Paul Stahly is a 1980 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a member of the IVMA, AVMA, and the 9th District.  He is on the 4-H Livestock Board and is involved in the New Hope Church.  His wife is Luanne and children are Daniel and Sylvia.  His interest is farming.

District 10 Board Member
Dr. Nathan Rich

Dr. Nathan Rich is a 2006 PUSVM graduate.  He works at Country Acre Animal Clinic in New Castle.  He is a member of IVMA and AVMA.  He and his wife, Katie Petry, DDS, have 3 cats and 1 dog.  Dr. Rich's hobbies include hunting, fishing, skiing, trap and skeet, and biking.


District 11
Dr. Philip C. Borst

Dr. Philip Borst is a 1975 graduate from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a veterinarian at Shelby Street Animal Clinic, Indianapolis, IN.  His professional affiliations are the AVMA, IVMA, CIVMA and AAHA.  His wife is Jill and children are Alex and Eric.


District XII Board Member
Dr. James Hollis

Dr. James H. Hollis, DVM, is a Purdue 1989 SVM graduate. He is currently employed at the Indiana State Board of Animal Health.  He is a member of the IVMA, AVMA, District XII, Indiana Environmental Health Association (IEHA), and USAHA.  Dr. Hollis is involved in the Ripley County Health Board and is a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He and his wife have been married for 26 years and have 2 children.  His hobbies include gardening, lawn work, reading, and taking care of his horses.

District 13 - Swine
Dr. Lawrence Stauffer

Dr. Lawrence Staffer is a 1967 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a veterinarian at Delphi Veterinary Clinic in Delphi, IN.  His professional affiliations are the IVMA, Indiana State Board of Animal Health and Purdue Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory Advisory Committee.  His wife is Lillian and his three children are Bill, Liesli and Ben.  He enjoys spending time with his 6 grandchildren, watching Purdue football, Purdue basketball, raising cattle and gardening.

District 14-Equine
Dr. Roger Beam

Dr. Roger Beam is a 1993 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He works as a veterinarian at Midwest Equine and Veterinary Hospital in Trafalgar, IN.  Dr. Beam's professional affiliations are the IAEP, AAEP, IVMA and the AVMA.  His wife is Kim, and his children are daughter Erica,14 and son Justin,12.  Both children are active in sports especially basketball and they all enjoy boating and water skiing together.

District 15-Bovine
Dr. Amy Lanum

Dr. Amy Lanum is a 2000 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  She works as a veterinarian at Bush Veterinary Services in Flora, IN.  Her area of practice is mixed with special interests in bovine medicine and surgery.  Her professional affiliations are the IVMA and the AABP.  She and her husband Chad are the proud parents of a 19 month old daughter, Rylie.  Together they enjoy spending time with family and friends, raising cattle, and of course cheering on the Colts!

Dr. John Schnarr

Dr. John Schnarr is a 1970 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a veterinarian at Irvington Pet Clinic, Indianapolis, IN.  His professional affiliations are the CIVMA, IVMA and the AVMA.  His wife is Barbara, and his sons are Eric and Jason.  He has two grandchildren.  His hobbies are scuba diving, photography, and golf.

Dr. Bill Humphrey

Dr. Bill Humphrey is a 1965 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Humphrey is a retired veterinarian.  He and his wife Kate have 5 children and 10 grandchildren.  They enjoy visiting their family in Vermillion, South Dakota, Phoenix, Warsaw, and Kokomo while playing golf and observing sporting events.
