A small animal practice in Southwest Indiana is seeking a part time veterinary associate. We currently have four full and three part time staff members which includes a technician and a veterinarian.
Devonshire Veterinary Clinic, Inc. would like to offer an associate position for a person that is very people oriented and a person that is interested in high quality medicine and surgery. The practice is located 35 miles northeast of Indianapolis just off of Interstate 69. The practice was established in 1968. This is to replace a person that is leaving a 3 1/2 person practice. The clinic has been remodeled and enlarged two years ago. We have four exam rooms with 2 exam rooms that have lift tables that also weighs (canis major). The practice has Med Rx video otoscopes in one exam room and in the surgery room plus a wireless video otoscope in another exam room. We have Idexx in-house blood analyzer for wellness exams and pre-surgical screening. We use surgical monitoring (EKG + Oz Pulsometry). The practice also uses endoscopy and has digital radiography (Fovea).
We would like to consider a new graduate or a person with 1-3 yrs experience. Interest in surgery would be highly considered. Salary would conmensurate with level of experience. Pay would include eighty percent health benefits, liability insurance, vacation, continuing education and a Profit Sharing Plan. Local, IVMA, and AVMA dues would be included.
