Veterinary Technology Program
IVMA Partners in Animal Health
I am a Registered Veterinary Technician and Instructional Technologist within Purdue University's Veterinary Technology Program. After spending 10 years in clinical practice, I made the transition to academia in order to educate the next generation of veterinary technicians. From creating nursing care plans, to utilizing critical thinking skills, today's veterinary technician must have a highly developed skill set. Veterinary technicians balance the art and science of veterinary medicine by anticipating events, analyzing patient data, and doing so with the utmost compassion and care.
I am proud to play a role in educating these crucial members of the veterinary healthcare team. I am the human side of animal health.
